Nicole Hollis, (represented by Mullens PR) recently completed work on the new Ruti boutique on San Francisco’s tony Fillmore Street. A study in contrasts, the store’s fresh, modern design was achieved through the use of both natural and man-made elements. Weathered, reclaimed wood siding, slick porcelain tile, raw forged steel and antique fixtures act a complimentary backdrop to the store’s collection of clothing and accessories.
The space is punctuated by unique touches such as a silver-plated antler chandelier, a custom display table, made of reams of white copy paper and an original wall installation which employs various raw materials used in fashion, including: wool yarns, thread and leather.
